Twice a month I will be bringing you a fun new libation to enjoy. My fruity cocktail recipe is so easy to make, and I have to warn you, these go down VERY smoothly :-).
My Vitamix is my favorite kitchen toy when I make fruity drinks. Incorporating fresh healthy fruits into my drinks makes them so refreshing. I mix the fruit and the liquor on high to break down the fruit pulp. It also gives it my drinks a froth.
Serve this drink three ways, frozen as a slush, on the rocks, or straight up. How versatile is that for a drink? (The photos are showing the "on the rocks" version.)
Mr. Fearless Dining and I love to try new libations when we go out to eat...the more crazy sounding, the better. One of my recent favorites is a drink that I had at Orchard Kitchen in Campbell. How to make a bourbon cocktail with peaches:
Bourbon Tropical Peach Cocktail Recipe
- 1 ounce Peach Schnapps
- 1 ounce bourbon
- 1/4 cup pineapple juice
- 1 large fresh peach Pit and skin removed.
- Put alcohol, peach, and pineapple juice into a Vitamix or blender.
- Blend on high for 30 seconds until peach is liquified.
- Serve over ice on the rocks.
