When is the last time you had a gluten free waffle for breakfast in a restaurant?
Stacks’ is our family’s favorite place to bring the kids.
Stacks is located right in downtown Campbell, CA. This restaurant is open for breakfast and lunch. We love the large gluten free menu and all ofand Stacks’ understands how to manage cross contamination.
(***Big note, come early on the weekends because the line is always out the door. Which is why they have the big coffee cart outside.)
Our usual waitress, Sandy, has Celiac Disease and she went out of her way to train the restaurant on how to do gluten free the right way.
Not only does Stacks’ have coffee outside the restaurant while you wait, they also have a big coffee pot they put on your table 🙂 This key for tired parents!
My kids love to order waffles when we go to Stacks’. Stacks’ has a dedicated gluten free waffle iron. If you go with a party of four, and you all order a gluten free waffle, please know it will take longer because they have to cook each waffle one by one. I don’t mind the wait and most people feel better knowing their food is made on a dedicated waffle iron.
My personal favorite, the bacon waffle :-).
The triple berry waffle is also a favorite with our kids.
And there are dozens of gluten free egg dishes as well.
The huevos rancheros (more like an enchilada) are made with corn tortillas.
Vegetable egg scramble.
I hope you have a chance to visit Stacks’. Our favorite day to come is on Sunday mornings because Campbell Ave is blocked off to street traffic because of the farmer’s market.
