I will say that strawberries are one of those fruits listed on the EWG’s dirty dozen, in fact, they are listed as the number one on the list. This is one fruit I highly encourage you to buy as organic. Depending on the time of year, there isn’t much cost difference between organic and non-organic. Winter is the most expensive time to buy strawberries as organic.
