Thank you, Tillamook for sponsoring this post. Grab your friends and family and enjoy some ice cream together!
This thick and creamy strawberry and vanilla milkshakes are a big hit anytime, but I am super excited to debut this new ombre dessert at my daughter’s graduation party! These shakes, along with a Build Your Own Ice Cream Sundae Bar will be a big hit with the kids.
These gluten free milkshakes are perfect for a hot summer day!
We are busy prepping for my daughter’s graduation party. This has been bittersweet for me. I feel like time has flown by so fast. Our first child is graduating and spreading her wings. (Our kids are close together in age and it feels weird to say our son will head to college the following year…we will have a totally empty nest in just one more year!)
Wait until you try these layered milkshakes that we will be serving!! I used Tillamook Oregon Strawberry and Old-Fashioned Vanilla layered to make ombre milkshakes. Many of Tillamook’s ice cream flavors are gluten free.
Tillamook Ice Cream Toppings Bar
We are celebrating with both our family and my daughter’s friends after graduation. We are serving lots of Tillamook Ice Cream to everyone! I have tried lots of ice cream brands and Tillamook is by far our family’s favorite. It is so creamy…it is everything we love in ice cream.
Tillamook makes its ice cream with the highest quality ingredients. This means high-quality milk from cows that are NOT treated with artificial growth hormones, extra cream for rich, smooth creaminess and NO high fructose corn syrup. Tillamook is real ice cream, and it comes in so many delicious flavors!!
The weather has been really weird so far here in the Bay Area so we are hoping the weather will warm up today so we can open up the pool. (It is usually in the 80’s by now, but the weather has been cold and rainy for weeks!)”
Our party toppings bar has sprinkles, hot fudge, sliced strawberries, M&Ms, and whipped cream. Letting the kids (aka graduates) make their own ice cream Sundaes is a win-win because they can not only choose their favorite flavor of ice cream but all of their toppings too.
More Ice Cream Topping Ideas:
- Caramel Sauce
- Chopped Pineapple
- Blueberries
- Strawberry Sauce
- Chocolate Chips
For the party, we are serving up Old-Fashioned Vanilla, Oregon Strawberry, and Mudslide that we picked up from our local Raley’s. Tillamook makes so many flavors to choose from!
Check out the big chunks of chocolate in Tillamook’s Mudslide Ice Cream! Tillamook doesn’t skimp on mix-in ingredients in their ice cream flavors. Their Mudslide is hands down my favorite chocolate ice cream! It will taste so good as an ice cream Sundae!
Are you ready to make some ombre milkshakes?
These 2-ingredient milkshakes are sooo easy to make!! Who knew two ingredients blended together could taste so good? Grab your favorite flavor of Tillamook Ice Cream and milk.
Scoop your favorite flavor of Tillamook Ice Cream into a blender and add milk. You can control how thick your shake is by how much milk you add.
I am letting the kids make their own milkshakes too so they can customize with their favorite ice cream. Here are two shakes the kids created :-). This shake recipe is so easy to make. I would love to see how your shakes turn out. Tag me on Instagram with your pictures for me to share!
Congratulations to the Class of 2019!!
