This quick and easy Gluten Free Tilapia with an Shiitake Alfredo Mushroom Sauce is perfect for those busy nights.
The school year is racing to a finish and I can count the nights we can squeeze in a family dinner on one hand lately.
When Bumble Bee SuperFresh® asked to send me a few packages of this easy to prepare seafood, I was excited to give it a try. Fish is a delicious and healthy meal…it is a bonus that this bakes in under 20 minutes.
Dinner in under 20 minutes is just what our family needs. This quick dinner option could give us a brief family dinner time between all of the craziness and kid shuttling we face during the week.
This easy tutorial shows you how to make a homemade alfredo sauce.
Bumble Bee SuperFresh® is a complete line of naturally-seasoned, restaurant quality, “fish-forward” prepared seafood solutions for the home. It raises the bar for what seafood lovers can expect from frozen food!
I got to try out the Bumble Bee SuperFresh® Tilapia with garlic and extra virgin olive oil flavor and it was so easy to make. It has ground black pepper, fresh garlic, sea salt and extra virgin olive oil—making every flaky bite fantastic! This premium tilapia fillet will definitely become a family favorite!
One thing I love about this fish is how it cooks in a parchment. It means no messy pans to scrub. Bumble Bee SuperFresh® smells and tastes amazing. Even my kids liked it…and they are picky!
Unpack the fish and parchment paper.
Just put the seasoned frozen fish patty into the parchment, fold the parchment paper, and bake.
It comes out baked and ready to serve. You can enjoy it by itself, add it to a salad, or create this delicious shiitake alfredo sauce to serve over it.
The possibilities are endless!
No fishy smells here. Because you prepare Bumble Bee SuperFresh® straight from the freezer, there isn’t any smell associated with thawing fish. And our frozen protein has stayed that way from harvest to your oven unlike most of the “fresh” fish you find at the seafood counter. That means it is fresh tasting, and fresh smelling.
I made a quick gluten free shiitake alfredo sauce to top the fish with because my kids love alfredo sauce. Alfredo everything! The garlic flavors from the tilapia blend in with this alfredo sauce and they combine beautifully.
This sauce cooks up in just 10 minutes so you can make it while the fish is baking.
Heat olive oil in a pan on medium heat and add a large garlic clove.
Add shiitake and cook. When the shiitake are softened, add heavy cream and parmesan. Bring to a boil. Serve warm over the fish.
