In a large bowl, add the dry ingredients and whisk to blend. Add raisins or chocolate chips and blend them in.

In a smaller bowl, add the wet ingredients and raisins. Whisk to blend them together. I used very soft, almost fully melted butter.
3.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix into a soft cookie dough.
4.
Use a cookie scoop to drop cookie dough balls onto a baking sheet. Bake at 350º F for 10 minutes.
There is nothing like a warm oatmeal cookie! They are crisp around the edges and chewy on the inside! So good!
