I love these mini layer cake pans by Wilton. They make small but tall layer cakes. Add the cake batter to greased pans and bake at 350º F.
You can use my chocolate buttercream recipe or use store-bought frosting. I used mini layer pans for four layers but you can use larger cake pans for a two layer cake!
