Ninja Air Fryer Chicken Wings

Easy air fryer gluten free chicken wing recipe that is crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. These chicken wings are paleo, whole30, Keto. I include oven baking instructions for those who prefer to bake their wings.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound chicken wings
  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil
  • 1 tablespoon turmeric
  • teaspoon salt
  • optional ground black pepper

Instructions
 

Air Fryer Instructions:

  • Preheat your air fryer to 370º F.
  • In a bowl, add the wings and sprinkle with turmeric, salt, and pepper.
  • Add the oil and mix to coat the wings.
  • Add the wings to the warmed air fryer basket. Make sure they are not touching so the air can circulate around them.
  • Spray a high heat tolerant oil over the wings. I recommend avocado or canola oil.
  • Cook in the air fryer 10-12 minutes until the internal temperature reads 165º F.

Oven Baked Instructions:

  • Preheat the oven to 350º F.
  • Spray cooking oil on in a baking dish.
  • Lay out the chicken. Sprinkle with salt, turmeric, then drizzle olive oil on top.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes until the chicken is crispy on the outside. Internal temperature should be 165º F.

Notes

  1. If you don't have wings, you can use this turmeric seasoning on any piece of chicken. If you don't have wings.
  2. I like to use avocado oil to rub the chicken. You can use another light oil if you prefer.
  3. These wings will keep in an airtight container in the refrigerator up to 4 days.

SPECIAL NOTE

Please know that every gluten free flour blend has a different starch to grain ratio. If you use a blend I didn't test, you may need to adjust your moisture levels in your baked goods.
