Creamy  Chocolate Custard

You only need a few ingredients to make homemade chocolate custard. You can use milk or dark chocolate!

Ingredients:

Chocolate

Heavy Cream

Egg Yolks

Sugar

Milk

Start with a good quality chocolate. You can use dark or milk chocolate. You want it to have enough fat content so it melts nicely.

Melt the chocolate in a pan with the heavy cream and sugar.  Cook on low heat, whisking frequently to avoid burning the chocolate.

This rich chocolate custard recipe is for all of the chocoholics! This is easy to make and tastes so good!

Spray ramekins with non-stick oil. Pour the melted chocolate mixture into each ramekin, filling them 3/4 full.

Place the chocolate filled ramekins in a baking dish with water and bake for 25 minutes at 350º F.

Refrigerate for 1 hour when cooled. Garnish with whipped cream, fresh berries, and/or chocolate shavings.
