How To Make A Balsamic Reduction Sauce

A balsamic vinegar reduction sauce is perfect for salad, meats, and seafood dishes!

Ingredients:

Balsamic Vinegar

Fresh Herbs

Optional: Port

Always start with a high quality balsamic vinegar. It will have better flavor when reducing.

Add the vinegar to a small pot and bring to a boil over medium heat. When the mixture starts to boil, reduce the heat to low.

A balsamic vinegar reduction sauce will have the consistency of syrup.

Add thyme or other fresh herbs and continue to simmer the vinegar. Stir occasionally. Cook for 30-40 minutes.
