If you are like me, you love to bake gluten free cookies. I have 100+ delicious gluten free cookie recipes on my blog, from cookies to cookie bars. I have a wide variety of cookie recipes, and some require special equipment while others do not.

Your baking success is important to me and I have been working hard to make sure to share all of my Gluten Free Baking Tips to help you. I talk about which gluten free flour blend work best for different kinds of recipes so that you always use a flour blend that will be successful. If you run into any issues, you can also check my Gluten Free Cookie Troubleshooting Guide.

If you are new to gluten free, I have a huge Gluten Free Resources Page to help you learn how to live, cook, dine out, and thrive in a gluten free life. I am also here if you have any questions and you can reach out via email, or leave a comment below.

How The Right Cookie Equipment Helps:

  1. Consistency: Using high-quality equipment ensures that your cookies will come out consistently every time you bake. This is because good baking equipment provides consistent heat, thorough mixing, and uniformly shaped cookies.
  2. Efficiency: Good quality equipment can make the baking process more efficient. For example, using a stand mixer to mix your dough can save you time and effort compared to mixing by hand. A good quality oven can also help you bake more cookies at once, which can save time if you're making a large batch.
  3. Durability: Investing in good quality equipment means that you won't have to replace it as often. I can't tell you how often I have had a cheap cookie scoop break. Good quality kitchen tools can save you money in the long run.
  4. Better Results: Ultimately, using good quality equipment will help you make better-tasting, better-looking cookies. When you use high-quality equipment, you'll be able to achieve the perfect texture, color, and shape for your cookies, which can make them even more delicious and appealing.

I also have awesome Gluten Free Bread Troubleshooting and Gluten Free Cake Troubleshooting Guides if you are looking for more tips and tricks. These guides can help you prevent gluten free baking fails.

My Favorite Cookie Baking Tools:

  1. TILUCK Stainless Steel Measuring Cups & Spoons Set, Cups and Spoons
  2. TILUCK Stainless Steel Measuring Cups & Spoons Set, Cups and Spoons

I use stainless steal measuring cups for two reasons. First, they hold up to a lot of use, and second, they can go in the dishwasher.

  4. Pyrex 3 Piece Glass Measuring Cup Set, Includes 1-Cup, 2-Cup, and 4-Cup Tempered Glass Liquid Measuring Cups

Pyrex has been around forever and its products last just as long. I use my pyrex to measure my wet ingredients, and I also proof my yeast in them.

  5. REGILLER Stainless Steel Mixing Bowls (Set of 5), Non Slip Silicone Bottom Nesting Storage Bowls
  6. REGILLER Stainless Steel Mixing Bowls (Set of 5), Non Slip Silicone Bottom Nesting Storage Bowls

I always recommend mixing any batter by hand. That means don't use a stand mixer. Mixing by hand means your baked goods will turn out light and fluffy. Mixing by hand can be a pain, but using these bowls with rubber bottoms makes it easier. They don't slide all over the counter while you mix your wet and dry ingredients together.

  7. KitchenAid KE060OHOBA Classic Utility Whisk, One Size, Black 2
  8. KitchenAid KE060OHOBA Classic Utility Whisk, One Size, Black 2

This is an awesome whisk. I use a whisk to mix up dry ingredients and wet ingredients. This holds up to daily use and it is dishwasher safe.

  9. Aucma Stand Mixer,6.5-QT 660W 6-Speed Tilt-Head Food Mixer, Kitchen Electric Mixer 6.5QT
  10. Aucma Stand Mixer,6.5-QT 660W 6-Speed Tilt-Head Food Mixer, Kitchen Electric Mixer 6.5QT

This is the only tool I do not personally own. I have a KitchenAid Stand Mixer, but it is expensive and I barely use it. I use my stand mixer to make bread and frosting. I do not use it for batters because it overmixes the batter, leaving denser baked goods. This model has thousands of excellent reviews and you can get it for a fraction of the price of a KitchenAid.

  22. Amazon Basics Silicone, Non-Stick, Food Safe Baking Mat - Pack of 2

There are a lot of companies that make these silicone mats, but these are not only the best price for the quality, but you get two. I use these mats a lot in my baking. They are helpful when rolling out cookie dough, shaping gluten free bread and rolls, cutting out biscuits, and rolling pie crust.

  31. KitchenAid Beacon Non-Slip Oven Mitt Set, Milkshake/Beige, 2 Piece Set
  32. KitchenAid Beacon Non-Slip Oven Mitt Set, Milkshake/Beige, 2 Piece Set

Having the right oven mitts can make all the difference in how you grip your hot pans. These are nice because of the non-slip grips. This is even more important if you use heavy cast iron pans or a Dutch oven for baking.
