  1. Consistency: Using high-quality equipment ensures that your cookies will come out consistently every time you bake. My son is always the first to notice if my cookies are not all the same size LOL. Good baking equipment provides consistent heat, thorough mixing, and uniformly shaped cookies.
  2. Efficiency: Good-quality equipment can make the baking process more efficient and save you time. For example, using a stand mixer to mix your dough can save you time and effort compared to mixing by hand. A good-quality oven can also help you bake more cookies at once, which can save time if you’re making a large batch.
  3. Durability: Investing in good-quality baking tools means that you won’t have to replace them as often. I can’t tell you how often I have had a cheap cookie scoop break. Good-quality kitchen tools can save you money in the long run.
  4. Better Results: Using the right cookie-baking equipment will help you make better-tasting, better-looking cookies. You will be able to achieve the perfect texture, color, and shape for your cookies, which can make them even more delicious and appealing.

  • If the recipe you make uses digital measurements, I love this EtekCity Digital Scale for measuring both wet and dry ingredients.
  • It is also important to get accurate dry measurements so your muffins don’t turn out too dense and dry. These dry measuring cups are very easy to use for measuring.
  • I love using glass mixing bowls when mixing ingredients for batter and dough. I use these glass mixing bowls, as you probably notice in my step-by-step photos in recipes.
  • If you are mixing your dough by hand, you will want a wire whisk to blend your dry ingredients thoroughly.
  • Having a non-stick work surface can be really helpful. I love these Amazon Basics Silicone Mats. They are inexpensive and hold up really well. They are also helpful when rolling out cookie dough.
  • I have tried a lot of cookie scoops over the years. Most fall apart after a few months. I found this XOXO Cookie Scoop and it has lasted over 3 years now. It is definitely my favorite.
  • Always have more than one cookie sheet in your baking rotation! Don’t take a hot cookie sheet and put the batter on it. The dough will start baking immediately, and it messes with the shape of your cookies. Use a couple of sheets and rotate them out when making large batches of cookies.
  • Preventing sticking is very important so you can enjoy your cookies! I either use this gluten-free baking spray or parchment paper on my cookie sheet.
  • After your cookies have been baked, moving them to a cooling rack is important. This will prevent them from overbaking.
  • If you love pizzelles, this Italian pizzelle maker will help you make the best Gluten-Free Pizzelle Cookies.
  • Gluten-Free Spritz Cookies are also fun to make. This cookie gun is the one I use.

As I mentioned above, I have 100s of incredible gluten free cookie recipes for you to try. I have a wide assortment of gluten free Christmas cookies and cookies for most holidays. If you love International cookies, I have a Gluten Free Cookies From Around the World digital cookbook available for download.
