How The Right Cookie Equipment Helps:
Consistency: Using high-quality equipment ensures that your cookies will come out consistently every time you bake. This is because good baking equipment provides consistent heat, thorough mixing, and uniformly shaped cookies.
Efficiency: Good quality equipment can make the baking process more efficient. For example, using a stand mixer to mix your dough can save you time and effort compared to mixing by hand. A good quality oven can also help you bake more cookies at once, which can save time if you’re making a large batch.
Durability: Investing in good quality equipment means that you won’t have to replace it as often. I can’t tell you how often I have had a cheap cookie scoop break. Good quality kitchen tools can save you money in the long run.
Better Results: Ultimately, using good quality equipment will help you make better-tasting, better-looking cookies. When you use high-quality equipment, you’ll be able to achieve the perfect texture, color, and shape for your cookies, which can make them even more delicious and appealing.
I always recommend mixing any batter by hand. That means don't use a stand mixer. Mixing by hand means your baked goods will turn out light and fluffy. Mixing by hand can be a pain, but using these bowls with rubber bottoms makes it easier. They don't slide all over the counter while you mix your wet and dry ingredients together.
This is the only tool I do not personally own. I have a KitchenAid Stand Mixer, but it is expensive and I barely use it. I use my stand mixer to make bread and frosting. I do not use it for batters because it overmixes the batter, leaving denser baked goods. This model has thousands of excellent reviews and you can get it for a fraction of the price of a KitchenAid.
I love this cookie sheet because it doesn't have sides. This makes it really easy to slide the parchment paper with the baked cookies straight onto the cooling rack!
I am an avid parchment paper user. I love these precut sheets because they are easy to fit to my pans. I also like them because they do not have bleach.
There are a lot of companies that make these silicone mats, but these are not only the best price for the quality, but you get two. I use these mats a lot in my baking. They are helpful when rolling out cookie dough, shaping gluten free bread and rolls, cutting out biscuits, and rolling pie crust.
This is the pizzelle maker I own. It is easy to use, and it heats evenly. I use it to make my gluten free pizzelle cookies, waffle cones, and cookie taco shells.
Having the right oven mitts can make all the difference in how you grip your hot pans. These are nice because of the non-slip grips. This is even more important if you use heavy cast iron pans or a Dutch oven for baking.
I love this food scale. I have the same in silver, but that color isn't in stock. I really like when a scale comes with a bowl. This kitchen scale is so easy to use. Just put the empty bowl on and hit the power button. It will balance out the weight so you can add and measure accurately.
