This easy peach margarita cocktail recipe has been sitting on my to-write queue for quite some time.

My brain is always on overdrive when it comes to thinking about flavor combinations and what to make next. Mr. Fearless Dining won't even go to the grocery store with me because I have to look at everything :-). Do you ever get this way in the grocery store?

Time to get your party on with this cold, fruity drink! You can check out all of my Fancy Drinks and see which ones you want to make!!

I recently found this tutorial to make flavored sugars, and it has taken my cocktails to a whole new level of yummy! It definitely makes this peach margarita recipe spectacular. Check out the Sriracha Salt on these Grapefruit Margaritas!

Two glasses of frozen peach margaritas with a lime garnish.

    How to make flavored sugar:

In making ginger sugar, I used ground-dried ginger spice and plain sugar. I added 1 ½ teaspoons of the ginger to a cup of sugar. If you like a real ginger taste, you can use it even more.

I kept it all sealed in a container for 5 days, but from what I have read, it should be ready in 2-3 days. Think of all of the delicious flavors of sugar you can make!

This frozen peach margarita would also be a big hit for Cinco de Mayo!

Can you use frozen peaches for this margarita recipe?

You can definitely use frozen peaches for this margarita recipe.  You will need a little less ice or more liquid to compensate for the extra icy quality of frozen peaches.

    Can you use canned peaches?

I think this depends on how sweet you like your drinks. Canned peaches are syrup-laden and very sweet. You can use them, but you have been warned  :-).

More fun cocktail recipes to try:

    • Red Currant Margaritas
    • Tequila Lemonade
    • Prickly Pear Margaritas

    Tools:

    1. Mason jars to seal up the sugar with ginger or other flavorings.
    2. Vitamix to mix it all up in.

I must make one of these this week! The flavors sound amazing. I'm not a tequila person, but I think this blend would be amazing with rum too. Or even as a virgin drink!

I am so glad you liked this recipe. I love peach everything, and it could definitely make a great virgin drink too.

Hi Connie, I have been working on my page and for some reason it didn't save in the new recipe program. I am so sorry. It is there now.
