Do you love margaritas as much as I do? You can use so many different fruits and flavors to customize your margarita cocktail. A classic margarita has such simple ingredients; tequila, triple-sec, and lime juice. (I know a lot of people use sour mix, but I can’t stand that stuff!)

These pink grapefruit margaritas with sriracha salt are a deliciously refreshing cocktail for any occasion.

Did you know there are over a thousand different tequila brands? That just blew my mind. Tequila comes in many different quality levels and price points.

Have you heard of a fun liquor deliver called Drizly.com? Drizly makes is so, so easy to find a variety of liquors. Drizly works with local stores so you can just shop their shelves easily from your couch.

Tequila

Tequila is one of my favorite liquors. It makes me happy, and it mixes so well in so many different cocktails. There are five categories of tequila. Tequila blanco, tequila joven (gold), tequila reposado (aged), tequila añejo (extra rest), and tequila extra añejo, (really, really rested).

You won’t believe all of the choices you have when you shop with Drizly. Drizly has hundreds of different tequilas that you to try. And even better, they are delivered right to your doorstep!! Buying tequila doesn’t get any easier than that! (If you love tequila as much as I do, you should also give these cocktail recipes a try: Frozen Peach Margaritas with Ginger Sugar and Tequila with Cilantro Lemonade).

Drizly sent me Cabeza Tequila to try. It is smooth and was perfect with the pink grapefruit. (You can get this yummy tequila from Drizly too!)

Orange Liqueur, Triple Sec, and Curaco

Orange liqueur is the second ingredient you will find in margaritas. There are so many choices, and types of orange liqueur. Each is subtly different, and all three work perfectly in margaritas.

A bottle of Patron orange liquor

Drizly sent me a delicious orange liqueur by Patrón. This liqueur has a light and fruity orange flavor. Check out how easy it is to order your favorite liquors!

Grapefruit

Lastly, the grapefruit juice. Pink grapefruits are sweeter than their yellow counter parts. I bought Texas Ruby Red grapefruits. You can recognize these by the pink hue to their outer skin.

Sriracha Salt

I bought my sriracha salt at a cute spice shop I found in Sacramento, Allspicery. You can find it online, or you can make your own with this easy recipe.
