Gluten-Free Granola
Oats are a controversial topic when it comes to gluten-free diets because they are often grown next to wheat fields. The risk of cross-contamination is very high, and these oats are not celiac-safe. I only recommend using gluten-free oats grown under the purity protocol.
You can read a lot more about this on Gluten-Free Watchdog’s site. She sends products to labs to be tested to see how much gluten is in them. Check out her Gluten-Free Oat Archive.

Beans, Canned Goods, and Broth
Costco is a great place to pick up naturally gluten-free pantry basics like canned beans, diced tomatoes, and chicken stock. These staples make it easy to cook meals from scratch without worrying about hidden gluten.
Even if an item seems naturally gluten free, always check the label for possible cross-contamination or manufacturing changesโespecially with bulk items. Even though these products are in bulk, they still have to be labeled if the food is made on shared equipment with wheat.
