I may have missed it but Whereโs the frosting recipe?
Hi Monica, this is for a cake mix, not the whole cake. You can use this recipe for frosting: https://www.fearlessdining.com/how-to-make-creamy-gluten-free-frosting/
I love this idea! Especially for a white cake mix! Does this make 2 cake pans or 1? I looked on the recipe card and it didnโt give cake pan sizes and bake times that I saw. I really appreciate all your recipes!!
Hi Christine, it is from this recipe: https://www.fearlessdining.com/gluten-free-vanilla-cake-with-cream-cheese-frosting/ and I used the thin little Wilton 4 layer 6″ diameter pans. They are linked in the vanilla cake recipe so you can see exactly which I used. I can’t put the Amazon link in comments. Depending on the size of cake you make, I think this would fill a 9″ single cake pan.
Hi there! Maybe I missed it. What wet ingredients are needed for making the mix into a cake? Iโm excited to try this.
You will want to open or download the gift card with the printed recipe…it is in the big light blue box.
Why does this only last 8 weeks in your pantry if itโs in a mason jar?
Hi Lori, It is my best guess based on the fact that gluten free ingredients have very few preservatives.
Thank you for this gluten free cake mix recipe. I prefer to use a home made mix in recipes that call for a cake mix. So glad this meets our family dietary requirements AND tastes delicious!
I am really glad you enjoyed it :-).
