Recipe step by step directions:
Step 1: Add softened cream cheese and maple syrup to a food processor.
Step 2: Add in your seasonings, then some whipping cream.
Step 3: Add the lid and blend until the cream cheese is whipped and creamy! This sweet cream cheese spread is ready to enjoy!
Expert Tips and Recipe FAQ:
I prefer to use full-fat cream cheese. Let the block of cream cheese come to room temperature so that it blends easily without lumps.
I always use 100% real maple syrup. Grade A or Grade B maple syrup both work well.
This homemade cream cheese will keep up to 4 days in an air-tight container.

Maple Cinnamon Cream Cheese
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 2 tablespoons whipping cream
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- ⅛ teaspoon ground ginger
- ⅛ teaspoon ground cloves
- Allow cream cheese to warm to room temperature
- Place all of the cream cheese spread ingredients into a food processor and blend until whipped.
- Spread the cream cheese schmear on the toast and top with sliced bananas and a honey drizzle
- I recommend using full-fat cream cheese instead of low fat. It spreads better and is creamier.
- This cream cheese schmear will keep up to 4 days in an air-tight container.
