Step 1: Remove the cream cheese from the refrigerator and let it warm up a bit. Add softened cream cheese and maple syrup to a food processor. If your cream cheese isn’t warmed a bit, it will still blend, but you will need to blend it longer.
Step 2: Add the ground cinnamon, ginger, and cloves. These seasonings will add great flavor! Last, add the 2 TBSP of whipping cream. This creaminess will enhance the schmear.
Step 3: Add the lid and lock it in place. Blend the ingredients together until the cream cheese is whipped and creamy! This sweet cream cheese spread is ready to enjoy or chill it for later!
This deliciously flavored cream cheese is also great as a dip with Gluten-Free Pretzels, Gluten-Free Bagel Chips, and apples!
Frequently Asked Questions:
I prefer to use full-fat cream cheese. Let the block of cream cheese come to room temperature so it blends easily without lumps.
I always use 100% real maple syrup. Grade A or Grade B maple syrup both work well. Always check to see if your maple syrup is gluten-free if you are not using 100% maple syrup.
This homemade cream cheese will keep fresh for up to 5 days in the refrigerator. I recommend storing it in an airtight container.

Instructions

- Place all of the cream cheese spread ingredients into a food processor and blend until whipped.
- Spread the cream cheese schmear on a bagel.
Notes
- I recommend using full-fat cream cheese instead of low fat. It spreads better and is creamier.
- This cream cheese schmear will keep up to 4 days in an airtight container.
SPECIAL NOTE
Please know that every gluten free flour blend has a different starch to grain ratio. If you use a blend I didn’t test, my rule of thumb is to add more flour if your dough or batter is wet and add more liquid if the dough or batter is too dry!

Very good. I topped mine with toasted pecans and a drizzle of honey; tastes and smells like fall.
That sounds wonderful with the pecans and honey!
