This curried turmeric lime cauliflower side dish was a surprise favorite in our house.
Cauliflower is one of those versatile vegetables that takes the flavor of seasoning really well.
Add in strong flavors like curry and turmeric, and you get a healthy vegan side dish that is pretty enough for entertaining. Turmeric is a natural anti-inflammatory and our family definitely needs any help it can get in this area. We always seem prone to sports and exercise strains. I am trying to create more turmeric recipes like this Cold Busting Turmeric Chicken Soup and this Easy Turmeric Vinaigrette Dressing.
Cooking with turmeric has a big challenge for me. My kids took one look at the bright yellow cauliflower and laughed out loud. I am giving them kudos for not running away from the dinner table LOL.
Yup, they are not worried about hurting my feelings at all over “vegetables.” My kids are pretty sweet about anything else. Vegetables just seem to fall into their own category with my kids. You can’t believe how surprised I was when my kids not only tried, but LIKED this cauliflower recipe. Is it wrong for me to want to make this every night now??
Well, I am hoping you, my fabulous reader, will move past the neon yellow color to give this recipe a try. It is incredible….even Mr. Fearless Dining will eat this cauliflower :-).

Quick and Easy Curried Turmeric Lime Cauliflower
- 1 head cauliflower cut up
- 1 teaspoon curry powder
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- salt and pepper to taste
Preheat the oven to 375.
Chop cauliflower and put in a bowl.
Add olive oil and toss together to mix.
Add seasonings and mix again.
Put in greased dish and bake for 20 minutes until cauliflower is roasted.
