This easy side dish is guaranteed to be a winner in your family! It isn't often I will guarantee something but this turmeric cauliflower was such a huge surprise. I didn't expect my kids to devour it!

    What is turmeric?

Turmeric is an Indian spice that adds strong flavors of curry and turmeric. It turns your recipes a vibrant yellow, which is part of the reason my kids were so intrigued by this recipe.

Turmeric is a natural anti-inflammatory and our family definitely needs any help it can get in this area. We always seem prone to sports and exercise strains. I am trying to create more turmeric recipes like this Cold Busting Turmeric Chicken Soup and this Turmeric Vinaigrette Dressing.

Cauliflower is one of those versatile vegetables that takes the flavor of seasoning really well. This gluten free turmeric cauliflower recipe is whole30, paleo, vegan, and delicious!

    Why this recipe is great:

This turmeric cauliflower recipe was a surprise favorite in our house, even my picky eater loved it. It is quick and easy to make, and I am finding everyone loves it!

I made this recipe for family friends not too long ago. Their young son loved this recipe so much, his mom asked me for the recipe so she can make it for him again!

    Tips and Recipe FAQ:

How do you cut cauliflower into steaks?

The easiest way to cut cauliflower into steaks by placing the head of cauliflower stem down on a cutting board. use a knife to cut down thick slices.

Someone asked if you should steam cauliflower before roasting it.

Don't steam your cauliflower. It will prevent it from getting slightly crisp edges, which are so tasty!

How do you prevent mushy cauliflower?

Try not to cut into all of the florets. Keep florets whole then oil and season from there.

How long will this cauliflower keep?

This cauliflower will keep up to 4 days in an air-tight container.
