Tropical Teriyaki Pineapple Pepper Shrimp
Easy kid-friendly teriyaki pineapple pepper shrimp.
- 1 pound uncooked shrimp peeled and devined
- 1/4 cup tamari
- 3/4 cup pineapple juice
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 2 teaspoons sake
- 1 red pepper sliced thinly
- 1 leek sliced thinly
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
In a bowl, add shrimp, tamari, pineapple juice, garlic, sesame oil, honey, and sake. Allow to marinade for 5 minutes.
While shrimp is marinating, heat olive oil in a pan on medium heat.
Add peppers and leeks and saute.
Add shrimp and cook for 10 minutes.
Serve over rice, pasta, or by itself.
